The dining room is also very noisy as the pub bar is right next door and there is no separation of the two rooms. It was a very unpleasant experience, and we will not eat there again even though we are here for a week.Certainly the chef is not the same as on there visit. They put some olive oil on the dish, which at least made the dish palatable. Unfortunately, the Dijon mustard used to bind the pretzel breading was way too much. The salmon was redone and cooked correctly. After a lengthy discussion as to what was wrong with the dishes, she took them back, but never apologized for the ill preparations. We sent both dishes back, and were soon confronted by a very aggressive woman wanting to know why we sent them back. There was no oil or other liquid to bind the pasta to the other ingredients. My dish was a bowl of undressed and unseasoned pasta with shrimp, feta, artichoke hears and olives dumped on top. The salmon was on the far side of medium. angle hair pasta, and my dining companion ordered rare pretzel crusted salmon. Having been here 3 years ago, and enjoyed it very much, I was looking forward to a delicious meal. Food is terrible.Reservations are mandatory even though there are very few diners present. Prolonging my stay at this property, I went back into the restaurant upon hearing the news to talk to the manager and the end result is that our server kept the card open and cashed it out giving herself a tidy $57 tip. The boys attempted to use the balance on the returned card to pay for a portion of their golf only to be told the balance was zero. I tipped her in cash and the boys headed across the street to play 18 holes. I presented 2 of the $100 cards for payment with the server returning one of the cards and letting me know what the balance was on the card. I took the liberty of purchase the Ultimate Gift card earlier in the year when a nice discount is offered on said purchase. At the price point, would it really be that difficult to hire a baker or a chef who would design and create an interesting brunch menu that was conducive to breakfast? The final straw though was upon presentation of the check. There are a lot of entree type items that are probably straight from US Food and cooked according to package instructions and the dessert selection is definately prepacked with the cheescake taking on that awful rubbery quality when it's opened and left in the walk-in fridge too long. hot breakfast bar along with the usual bacon/sausage/fried potatoes. I expected more breakfast items, not just the standard scrambled eggs in a pan that you can find at any hotel.
